French Roulette / Fransk Roulette | French roulette is a variant of European Roulette that can offer La Partage or Prison. |
Flop (Poker) | The first three cards in poker (Texas Hold'em and Omaha) who are turned with the front up on the table. This action comes before the turn and river cards. |
Fold (Poker) | When a player gives up his hand due to bad cards, blinds and bets are lost. |
Foul (Poker) | If a player's hand cannot be played for some reason, the dealer will declare it a foul. This player is not eligible to win anything from the pot. |
Free Card (Poker) | When a player has the chance to see an extra card without having to bet more in the pot. |
Face Cards | All cards that have portraits are called picture cards. This is broken (J), lady (Q) and king (k) regardless of color. |

Turn | The card laid with the front up after the flop cards, usually the fourth joint card. |
Tie | Besides the player and the bank, the tie effort is one of the three possible bets in Baccarat. If a hand finishes a draw, there is a push that means the player and the bank get back their bets. The TIE effort pays 8: 1 or 9: 1 and the advantage of the house (Edge) is more than 14%. |
Taking the Odds (Craps) | To "take odds" means placing an odds game in craps. |
The Field Bet | An effort in craps that the next throw will be 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12. |
